Happy Thanksgiving!

As we celebrate the holiday, I've been reflecting on what I'm most grateful for here at Prancing Pony Farm. Of course, there's family, friends, health—all the big, important things. But there's something else that fills my heart in a way I didn't fully expect when we started breeding Maremmas.

It's you. Our puppy families.

Over the years, I've had the privilege of watching our dogs go home with truly exceptional people. Families who do their research, ask thoughtful questions, and commit to giving these amazing livestock guardian dogs the life they deserve. Whether you brought home a puppy this year or several years ago, you've trusted us with one of the most important decisions you can make for your farm or family—and that trust means everything.

The updates you send—the photos, the funny stories, the questions, even the challenges you and I navigate together—remind me why we do this work. Seeing our Maremmas thrive in your care, protecting your livestock, loving your families, and settling into their purpose is the greatest reward we could ask for.

This year in pictures...

I put together a little video montage of some of our puppies from this year and past years. It's just a simple collection of moments that made me smile, and I hope it brings you a little joy this Thanksgiving too.

A couple of puppies still looking for their people...

As we move toward the end of the year, we have just a few puppies still available and waiting for their perfect homes. There's one beautiful pup from our August litter who's ready to go now, and we have a couple from a younger litter who'll be ready soon.
